Current topics ... we can't ignore it ... there is an imminent shortage of drinking water.
We as a company help to prevent this!
The world is crying out for drinking water! 💧
Climate change, increasing water scarcity, population growth, demographic changes and urbanization already pose challenges for water supply systems. Re-use of wastewater, to recover water, nutrients, or energy, is becoming an important strategy. The world is therefore looking for alternatives. In more places in the world, people are starting to purify all kinds of water into drinking water. While this practice, if done inappropriately, poses health risks. Safe management of wastewater can yield multiple benefits.
Withofs Transport Company delivers products 24/7 to our water treatment stations in Belgium and the Netherlands, so that they can continue to guarantee drinking water for your home.
What do we do?
We provide the water treatment stations with the necessary products based on limestone and dolomite so that they can clean the water into drinking water. In this way, the products optimise the drinking water hardness, stimulate flocculation of organic substances, remove phosphates and metals, prevent limescale and kill bacteria.
Withofs Transport Company has a KIWA Certificate; this means that we have received a special label, so that we can transport the chemical additives for drinking water.
We have customized slurry tanks or silo's. Withofs Transport Company customize their slurry tanks or silo's to our customer's specifications. This allows us to transport drinking water that conforms to high standards.
These transports are enormously important to our company, we pay extra attention to them because we realize how important drinking water is in our world. That is why we put our best drivers on these transports.
In order to monitor everything correctly and in detail, we use digitized inventory management. Our dispatch can read the stock of the silo's online on real time. Our measuring instruments are connected online, so we can monitor this.
